About SIVET College
South Indian Vanniar Educational Trust College (popularly known as SIVET, College) was established in the year 1966. It is a government college, located in Gowrivakkam Tambaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The college is affiliated to Madras University and accredited by both the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Currently, around 3,000 students are enrolled with the SIVET College. The college offers 8 UG programs and 2 PG programs in Shift I. It also provides 6 UG programs and 3 PG programs in Shift II. SIVET College is awarded “B++ Grade” by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). South Indian Vanniar Educational Trust is well-equipped with all the modern facilities including a library, laboratory, canteen, hostel, gym, sports and auditorium. Placement facility is also available.
